EL MUNDO DEL WRESTLING INDEPENDIENTE
La mayor compañía de wrestling del mundo es WWE, seguida de TNA Impact Wrestling y también ROH Ring Of Honor. Pero además, existe el wrestling independiente. Hay cientos de promociones de wrestling indie en todo el mundo. Hablemos de algunas de ellas;
En España existen algunas promociones de wrestling independiente como: AWZ Wrestling en Zaragoza.
Obviamente en Estados Unidos son mucho más numerosas. Nombraremos tan sólo unas pocas como:
ICW International Wrestling Cartel, dónde destacan Wardlow y la facción Team Storm formada por RC Dupree, JaXon Argos y Jack Pollock.
Defiant Wrestling dónde el actual campeón es Rampage y campeona femenina Bea Priestley.
Sin olvidarnos de House of Hardcore de Tommy Dreamer, Pro Wrestling Ignition, Florida Pro Wrestling,WCPW y muchísimas más.
En Japón hay mucho wrestling, principalmente New Japan Pro Wrestling. Y existén numerosas promociones de wrestling independiente, como Marvelous, DDT Pro-Wrestling, IWA Japan ó Stardom dónde han luchado por ejemplo Xia Brookside o Zoe Lucas.
En Gran Bretaña e Irlanda también existe un gran número de promociones de wrestling independiente. Como AMP Wrestling, AAW ó Progress Wrestling dónde luchó Tony Storm.
En el resto de Europa también está extendido el wrestling indy.
En La India existe Wrestle Square que tiene de actual campeón a Malkeet Brawler y de campeona femenina a Mephisto.
Y en Méjico, la Lucha Libre forma parte de la cultura popular del país. Con luchadores de renombre como L.A. Park, El Hijo Del Santo ó Juventud Guerrera. Las compañías más grandes son AAA y CMLL.
